I am really amazed how much progress I seem to be making with my yoga practice. Here I was in class, having not practiced for a week, and attempting the side crow pose. ‘Well’, I thought, ‘let’s have another bash at this’, as I’m better on one side than the other.
To my surprise and delight when I attempted the weaker side I found it has become so much stronger than the strong side.
My balance on my weaker side has improved dramatically, so much so that I can now hold the pose comfortably; last week I wobbled and fell. In fact, there’s more wobble on my stronger side.
It goes to show the power of yoga and its balancing qualities.
