When practising yoga it’s usual to come across the unfolding of ourselves, like stripping down the layers of an onion, to reveal our true selves.  It might not sound very manly in our world of labels and stereotypes but men have feelings; it’s what makes us a part of the human race.

In Psychology Today’s article, How to Be Real Without Being Obnoxious, it explores how we can be authentic and true to ourselves without offending others.  It touches on our immediate reactions and suggests tapping into the deeper awareness of what lies within that often causes our knee-jerk reactions.  And as the article says, there’s a big difference between being authentic and being obnoxious.
